The key to having a better swing is having a better body!!!

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”2″ el_width=”80″ accent_color=”#dcbf87″ css=”.vc_custom_1501693481821{padding-top: 50px !important;padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column_text]

It amazes me when I ask people if they golf and I get a response that they’re not old enough yet; as if golf is an out of shape old man’s sport. Nothing could be further from the truth. Golf is a sport, and being physically fit is a major component in being a good golfer and in consistently having a good swing.

It’s not about luck;

it’s about physical skill

Many times people continue to purchase the best golf clubs and equipment, take many lessons, and practice for hours on end only to come up short because they are playing with an ineffective body.

Golf is a sport

The golf swing is athletic, and to consistently have a good golf swing, athletics are a necessity. A good swing involves a combination of fitness and power.

A good swing has six basic components

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”2″ el_width=”50″ accent_color=”#dcbf87″ css=”.vc_custom_1502789023859{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_empty_space height=”32″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” gap=”20″][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][ultimate_exp_section title=”STRENGTH” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Strength to maintain golf posture and rotate the body powerfully into the ball for a great follow through.

[/vc_column_text][/ultimate_exp_section][vc_empty_space height=”50″][ultimate_exp_section title=”FLEXIBILITY” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Flexibility to have the freedom of good rotation to protect the hips, knees, and shoulders from wear and tear and the ability to achieve a full back swing without muscular tension and spasms.

[/vc_column_text][/ultimate_exp_section][vc_empty_space height=”50″][ultimate_exp_section title=”STABILITY” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Stability gives the body the ability to stabilize and maintain correct body mechanics while in motion.

[/vc_column_text][/ultimate_exp_section][vc_empty_space height=”50″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”863″ img_size=”400×605″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][ultimate_exp_section title=”BALANCE” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Balance is the key to having a consistent and powerful swing the duration of all 18 holes. Balance helps prevent injury by bringing about a flow of movement, as to not over tax any particular group of muscles.

[/vc_column_text][/ultimate_exp_section][vc_empty_space height=”50″][ultimate_exp_section title=”COORDINATION” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Coordination is the ability to bring about the necessary sequence of motions for a smooth follow through in the swing.

[/vc_column_text][/ultimate_exp_section][vc_empty_space height=”50″][ultimate_exp_section title=”ENDURANCE” text_hovercolor=”#2d2d2d” bghovercolor=”#dcbf87″ title_active=”#2d2d2d” title_active_bg=”#dcbf87″ cnt_bg_color=”rgba(188,188,188,0.08)” icon=”Defaults-check” icon_align=”left” icon_size=”12″ icon_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_hover_color=”#2d2d2d” icon_active_color=”#2d2d2d” exp_effect=”fadeToggle” section_width=”200″ title_alignment=”left”][vc_column_text]

Muscular endurance gives you the ability to maintain optimal swing mechanics, power, and focus through the course of the 18 holes with ease.

POWER PLATE

The body feels what the mind thinks

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

Both of these training systems re-educates neurological patterns of movement and opens neurological pathways for greater mind – body communication and connection; which in lay men terms means a better body for a better swing. Mindful movement is a key to optimal performance. The Power Plate reinforces movement patterns by vibration through the central nervous system; while Pilates reinforces movent patterns by bringing the body into proper structural alignment via the spine and joints.
